The Hub is a curated directory and community utility for the Caribbean diaspora in Ontario. We provide discovery, moderated listings, Community Exchange posts, and optional paid promotion. We are not a social network, marketplace escrow, or emergency service.
You confirm details (hours, prices, tickets, credentials) before you pay anyone. Meet safely for Exchange pickups. Do not send e-transfers before you receive goods. Report scams in-app.
Submissions may be held for moderation. We may remove content that is misleading, hateful, illegal, or unrelated to the community mission. Charities and volunteer posts must be truthful; impersonation is prohibited.
Featured placement, event boosts, job packs, Verified badge, and Business Pro (annual) are billed through Stripe. Refunds follow Stripe and our published refund policy at launch. Paid placement does not guarantee leads or sales.
You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform or harass others.
You must not attempt to break into the service, scrape data abusively, upload malware, or impersonate others. We may suspend accounts and report illegal activity to authorities.
The app is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by Ontario law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from third-party listings or offline transactions.
