A community directory and PWA for Caribbean nationals and allies across Ontario. It may include free discovery and optional paid placement (Featured, Boost, Business Pro).
Region, island filters, and home feed preferences are stored locally in your browser until accounts ship. We do not sell personal data.
When you report a listing or submit a business, that information is handled by our moderation process. Only collect what you need to verify listings.
Paid features are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers in this app. Stripe handles PCI; we may receive receipt metadata (email, product, amount) via webhook for fulfillment.
Sign-in codes and optional alerts are sent only with consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing; transactional messages (receipts, security) may still be sent.
We collect only what we need to operate moderation and accounts. Production data is stored using Cloudflare D1 and related Cloudflare services (Canada/United States). Email is sent via Resend; payments via Stripe. You may request access or deletion by email.
The Hub is not directed at children under 13. Exchange and events may reference 18+ content where applicable.
We use industry-standard providers (Cloudflare, Resend, Stripe) and restrict admin access to operational data. Production database backups are exported on a regular schedule (Cloudflare D1) and stored securely by our team. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable Canadian law.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by email. We will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting your account may not remove public listings already published until moderation removes them.
